Tutor Registry

Find a Tutor
Career Services maintains a list of current UVic students who are willing to tutor a variety of subjects. This list is available for students, parents and school counsellors to find a student to assist them on a casual/part-time basis. If you are a tutoring business please advertise your employment opportunities via our online job site the "WorkWall" at www.careerservices.uvic.ca/jobs.html.

Students set their own rate of pay, the area of town in which they wish to work and the level at which they would like to teach (i.e. high school only or second year university level).

Please note that we do not screen students, this is the responsibility of the person doing the hiring. It is also the employers responsibility to arrange for an appropriate location for the tutoring to take place, and to pay the student at the prearranged rate.

This list of tutors is not to be used for any commercial purposes. If your company or organization wishes to hire a tutor please use our job posting service for your hiring needs.

New names are added to this list by Career Services on a weekly basis, and Students are required to update their information on the list at least once per semester (Fall, Winter, & Summer).
